Welcome to Austin
Years ago before I moved to Austin, I remember this National Geographic issue very clearly. I would leaf through it again in the months leading up to me leaving the house and moving here. Fast forward another 10 years or so and I set up my first office for myself and one of my neighbors is the very photographer who took this photo. Michael O'Brien is a good guy and when I told him about it, he pulled a copy out of his collection, signed it and presented it to me. Very cool thing from a very nice and talented man.
